Volunteer Opportunities:

Both of these the volunteer opportunities below are in early May, but they are starting to Market now. Help out good causes and put something on your resume!

o The 2nd Annual Isenberg Gold Tournament is looking for volunteers for their Marketing Campaign. Please contact Kim Jasik at kjasik@student.umass.edu

o Their will be a charity fundraiser to save the police horses. There will be a 3 on 3 basketball tournament and Police officers will be dunked in a water tank. If you are interested in joining their marketing force please contact. Mike Medney at medney@gmail.com ASAP.

Internship Opportunities:

o Valley Vodka:

We are writing to you to inquire about interns for our company. We are a local business, Valley Vodka, located in Hadley, MA. Our owner and creator of V-One vodka has spoken to business classes at UMASS many times in the past few years. We are looking for a small team of interns, male and female, to assist us with promotions and marketing events. There are some paid positions available as well. If you know of anyone who might be interested please have them email us at sales@v1vodka.com. A Glimpse From Last Year...

Paul Kozub, President/Creator of Valley Vodka, Inc., shared the story of how he brought his dream of creating a new world-class vodka from small distilleries in his basement in Hadley, MA, to what is now a nationally distributed, internationally recognized premium brand.

Todd McClain, Director of Retention Marketing, spoke about VistaPrint and the opportunities in the Retention Marketing group.

The VP of marketing for Baskin Robbins, Scott Colwell, shared his experiences setting the strategic marketing direction for a national brand with more than 500 million dollars a year in revenue.

Jim Baron, Macy’s East, discussed his transition from developmental positions all the way to Vice President Executive Recruitment & Development.

All of these events have been successful due to the help of our officers and our dedicated members.
